Production Floor
CCTV Coverage Assessment

Comprehensive analysis of camera coverage across multiple production sites, identifying blind spots and security gaps to enhance operational oversight and asset protection.

Purpose of the Report

This report outlines the current CCTV camera coverage across multiple production sites and floors, focusing on blind spots, areas without camera visibility, and cameras with defective or missing microphones based on existing production floor seat plans. The objective is to identify security and monitoring gaps that may affect:

Safety Risks Asset Protection Operational Oversight

Detailed Site Observations

MAA Site

Critical Blind Spots / Defective Microphones

4th Floor Critical Areas

Areas marked with 'X' have no camera visibility at all and are completely outside the field of view of existing CCTV cameras.

5th Floor Blind Spot

Area that is marked with 'X' has a significant blind spot by camera angle limitations.

6th Floor Blind Spot

Area that is marked with 'Arrows' has a significant blind spot by camera angle limitations.

Central Lane Blind Spots (4F - 6F)

Blind spots are present, particularly in central lanes. Most cameras have limited coverage in the middle areas between the cameras. Repositioning neighboring cameras is not recommended as it may obstruct side-angle visibility and create new blind spots.

4th, 5th, and 6th Floors Microphones

All the floors on Maa site have defective microphones, either muted or with static, the cameras that have defective microphones are marked by blue 'X'.

Coverage Analysis

Floors Affected 4th, 5th, 6th

Repositioning Feasible No - Risk to Adjacent
Microphone Status All Floors Has Defects
Priority Level High

Overall Observations

Central Lane Pattern

Many sites experience blind spots in central lanes due to camera angle limitations and physical layout constraints.

Unmonitored Areas

Several areas have no CCTV cameras installed at all, leaving entire zones without any security monitoring or operational oversight capability.

Defective Microphones

Several CCTV cameras have defective microphones, resulting in areas where audio recording is unavailable or unclear, limiting effective monitoring and reducing overall surveillance capability.

Repositioning Constraints

Camera repositioning may negatively impact existing coverage in some locations, creating a domino effect of new blind spots if not carefully planned.

Recommendations

1

Install Additional Cameras in Unmonitored Areas

Deploy new CCTV cameras in all unmonitored areas, particularly in zones marked with 'X' and red rectangles where zero or limited coverage currently exists.

Immediate Action High Priority Sites: MAA 4F, Mabini A, Mabini B, Ecoland, CDO
2

Address Microphone Issues in Cameras

Ensure all CCTV cameras have working microphones. Repair or replace defective units in areas where none are available to support proper audio monitoring.

Immediate Action High Priority Sites: MAA 4F, Mabini A, Mabini B, Ecoland, CDO
3

Consider Using 360-Degree or Wide-Angle Cameras

Following the Digos site model, implement 360-degree or wide-angle cameras to eliminate blind spots and reduce the total number of cameras needed while maximizing coverage.

Best Practice Proven at Digos Site
4

Conduct Professional CCTV Layout Assessments

Engage security consultants to conduct professional CCTV layout assessments using specialized software to model camera fields of view and optimize placement before installation.

Strategic Prevents Future Gaps
5

Prioritize Workstation and High-Traffic Areas

Focus initial improvements on workstation clusters and high-traffic corridors where personnel and assets are concentrated. Ensure all production activity zones have at least one camera with clear line of sight.

Operational Focus Risk-Based Approach
